Everything Snap-on does is nice[Image: smile.gif]. Tools are great.

If very expensive

There was the Snap-on socket I accidentally welded to a motorcycle which was replaced without question. But I could have bought several socket sets for the price of one socket from Snap-on.

Snap on has always had a good tool replacement policy , Zippo too . I once pounded a zippo flat as a crape , shipped it to Zippo and was sent a new one no qestion

But my current policy is to buy the cheapest set possible. When I break individual parts I replace them with better stuff. Bahco, Britool, Halfrauds (OK - they are actually Halfords - a much despised UK car and (these days mostly) bicycle parts dealer) Professional are good for my needs and don't break when abused. And are usually less than 10% of the price of the equivalent Snap-on tool. Sometimes less than 1%.

I have only ever owned three Snap-on tools. Lost two, got one replaced under warranty..

Probably the only single thing I miss from my analog days, Zippos...

I own about 16 of them (one from my grandpa that he was issued in WWII and one from my dad that he used in the Korean War).
Now they all collect dust and ironically, just the other day came across the one I was using when I began vaping... had just refilled the cotton batting the same day I started vaping, and tried to fire it -- the cotton was dried and it wouldn't. Nice metaphor I guess -- the combustible days are fini.

I think I like Zippos so much because I was born and raised just a short distance from Bradford, Pennsylvania.

The original Bradford in the UK is a whole other story.

When the world gets an enema, Bradford (The UK version) is the place they insert it.

The one good thing in the place was closed (The National Museum of Film, Photography and TV) and moved to London as nothing good is allowed in Bradford (UK).

I used to live near Bradford Vermont , it's an old city ( and still barely a city ) that has grow rotten in the tooth and become a derelict slumish place that has only 4 creadits , a liquor store and 3 roads that lead to a city line .

Dogs have owners , Cats have staff .

Scott, I know Bradford VT....on NH border....stopped for fuel once...yup, not much else. Tongue

I remember the name because there is a Bradford north of Toronto and I was somewhat curious.....about the same. Tongue

I remember being told that the only good thing about any city was the fastest route out. My least favourite city on the planet (Speaking as a guy who really, really liked Pittsburgh (USA)) is Dundee. Which is where the entire planet gets its enemas.

They utterly ruined Dundee when they applied a speed limit to the bypass.

They got a golf corse and a boat launch too , and yes Piermont NH is just across the river . Used to be good walleye fishing in the area , but flooding pushed sediment into bailey's eddy turning a 16' hole into a wade pool and blocked off the set back wher a 50' hole hides . Just 20 mins from Bradford is home sweet home Barre VT a congested little puke stain in the woods , one of those places you love and hate equally .

RE: Can you use any battery?
It's better to buy batteries only from a trusted vendor of genuine batteries.
