Can just vape PURE VG, no flavor?
I am worried about all the "extra" crap in E-juice. If I just buy pure VG from here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PURE-VG-USP-GRADE-KOSHER-VEGETABLE-GLYCERIN-FOOD-GRADE-VAPING-E-CIG-JUICE-/281102071971?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368

Can I just pop it in my pen and vape. Does it taste bad, or taste like nothing? If it tastes bad can i make a taste myself?

Thanks

Hey lucky. I'm not a make your own juice guy just yet but I can say 100% vg won't wick well in a "pen" type device. 70/30 vgpg maybe 80/20 is about as high as they can take before the possibility dry hitting.
I've tasted vg on my finger and it's kinda bland.

While waiting for some replies why not have a quick scroll through the forum, there's plenty of info already posted that may help.

What kind of atomizer will "wick" it well.

The one i am getting i think it a wickless one. I am going to get a cheap kit called the Kangertech Emus and it comes with 2 pens so me and my bud can get started with it. It doesn't look like it uses a wick.

I am working in the flavour industry. If you take a simple flavour from my knowledge it should be safe. Simple flavours with few components only, ie. strawberry or raspberry.

Yeah, it has a wick, just 99% of it is internal. Everything I've tried that resembles that type of coil has dry hit over 70/30. Those ones might be different but I'd be very surprised. Unfortunately it's only the bigger, more powerful devices that have the capacity to vape 100vg in my experience.

Personally I'd go with any reputable 50/50 to 70/30 juice you like the sound of until get a feel for vaping, then progress into the bigger more expensive devices if you like it.
Good vendors juice ranges shouldn't contain any "extra crap" so you'll be fine.

Can i just buy PG and VG and mix them? I like the idea of making my own.

I could probably experiment to see what works.

Thanks

you can buy flavorless e-juice , it has a sweet taste . a 70/30 vg/pg is about the thickest a cleromizer will vape efficiently .

if you want to make your own here is a reliable site

Hi LuckyThe LadyBug. I can understand your trepidation regarding E Juice if you buy from a B&m or reputable online shop (avoid Ebay) you are most certainly going to be buying a quality product. E Juice consist of 4 elements VG, PG, flavouring and Nicotine all of which are Pharmaceutical‎ or food grade ingredients..

RE: Can just vape PURE VG, no flavor?
There are folk who vape straight VG with nicotine to taste - it tastes pretty sweet. In a clear type device I'd add at least 50% propylene glycol which also tastes faintly sweet. A dry or two per 10ml of ethyl maltol solution in PG will sweeten it more.

I do know of someone who routinely vapes that mixture with 54mg/ml nicotine which would knock me flat on my back.
