CAP Vanilla Custard & CAP French Vanilla Ratio Suggestions
Hello,
So I managed to get my hands on some CAP Vanilla Custard V2 and CAP French Vanilla V2.

I'm planning to make a 50/50 6% juice. What's the best ratio according to your opinion?

I'm not planning of buying any other flavors so will be just them two.

I was thinking maybe 10% vanilla custard and 5% french vanilla.

Any better ideas?

Hi Eddie - I would personally try the custard on its own, that will let you have an idea as to how much Vanilla is already in it. I love Vanilla but too much can be very overbearing and spoil it all.

Yeah that was also an option. I was thinking maybe 10-12% plain custard. Is that okay?

As it will be a single flavour juice I would certainly not go under 12%, if it was me I would go with 15%.

Be sure to let it steep at least two weeks before you start adjusting the percentage. Custards, creams etc.. need at least 2 weeks to really shine.

Keep Calm and Vape On!

That will be the hardest part. I don't know how I will resist the urge to put it on my tank right away lol

I'm very fortunate to be one of the lucky few owners of the device that eliminates steeping 100%.

As for those flavors, I can't help because I don't mix with either.

I've never used Capella VC on its own. The expensive Grant's Vanilla Custard is basically Capella VC with a small amount of sweetener.

I'd let it steep for at least three weeks, then try it. It'll be better after four weeks.

I'd try the VC at 12-15%

If you can get some ethyl maltol, which you might be able to get in a pharmacy, then I'd dissolve some in warm PG and add about 0.5% of it. It is easy to over sweeten with that stuff and the results are horrible. So add it in very small amounts and try it.

A small RDA is useful for taste testing as it'll hold very little juice so you aren't wasting any.

The only French Vanilla I've tried (not Capella) was horrible. It had a nasty metallic taste.

I wanted to leave the sweetener out tbh.

I'm not a big fan of sweet vape juices and I have this weird condition called gunkcoilophobia, which makes me anxious and makes the whole vaping experience a nightmare for me; burned taste, filthy tank, nasty smell, inky juice.

Just by thinking that I have to change the cotton every other day or even twice a day, empty the tank, clean it and stuff like that makes me anxious lol

EDIT: If GVC is just capella vc with a sweetener, it means that the percentages mean a lot in mixing, otherwise it wouldn't be such a best seller.
