RE: Building RTAs
If in doubt, toss the wicks - even expensive Japanese cotton is very cheap per rewick.

You won't use a dollar's worth of cotton in a year.

If you use too much wicking material, it will blacken and burn faster. There should be only slight resistance when pulling fresh cotton through the coil.

RE: Building RTAs
So this afternoon I replaced the build with a NiChrome 24 gauge wire, 2.8 ID, 8 wraps. Build came out to a .70. Dry burned it in at 20 watts, using it at 35 watts. Seems to be doing OK, but no huge clouds. I'm gonna go ahead and rebuild my Kylin Mesh tank here shortly, I can run that one at 55 watts with better flavor and clouds.

I also have a Mage RTA, Kylin 2 RTA, Zeus X RTA, Revolver RTA, Rebirth RTA, and a Moonshot V2 RTA. But I haven't messed with those in a very long time.

Nichrome has an incredibly fast ramp up and requires less wattage than similar resistance SS or A1 , try around 40w and fine tune from there . You will get better clouds and flavor .

Dogs have owners , Cats have staff .
