RE: Build recommendation?
Michael - 24 awg will overheat in a HURRY above 5v.  Use 3 strands of 28 twisted.  More thermal capacity, roughly the same resistance as 24.

Inception makes more resistance in a package that doesn't have to be unreasonably big.

Otherwise, go fused clapton and just make them huge.

Still silly though.

Remind one liberal per day, that laws affect only the law-abiding.

RE: Build recommendation?
It'll get hot quick for sure, but 5v is about 60w on a .4 so it's not overly cooking.. will be when he hit 6 though Mosking
He'll be into ~10 wraps with a 28 twisted, could see the distance with it though, good call.
It'll be 12+ wraps of kanthal fc, one massive coil!! For the lols that one

Or get yourself a 30mm atty and build BIG coils

been using this my self , it's really stepped up my game.

RE: Build recommendation?
I have the 30mm tobh atty RDA on my morse code box you would have no problem getting big coils in there
It's a cloud maker but you might want to drill the air holes out like I have
Mine has mikes Clapton coils in running at about .15 ohm

if at first you don't succeed ,call it version 1.0
