Foggers will take high wattages - I ran a Big Fogger at 0.2 ohms which is about 88W on a fresh cell.

However, the Big Fogger is a total pig to build.
Hey Don, can you hint me in the right direction? Smile

RE: Box mod?
It looks to me that you are unscrewing it in the wrong place. I will try to get pictures today to explain. The air adjustment is immediately below the chrome ring. Pics to follow when I have taken them.

Yeah, that's where i'm "screwing", it's just damn tight, but if you've got the same as me I guess I'll give it a good turn and see if that does it Smile

RE: Box mod?
Mine was never too tight. I'm waiting for someone to get the glue out of my internet connection and I'll have pictures. If you need to use pliers the first time to shift it, I'd give it a really thorough clean before use. It should not be that tight. You may have to remove the 510 adapter to get a good grip on the base.

Just tried screwing with pliers, and it doesn't budge at all....

Here's a picture of the two parts I'm trying to seperate:

RE: Box mod?
There you have the base and the inside of the tank. It really should unscrew smoothly there. I think you are going to find a very chewed O ring in there jamming the threads. Or some seriously awful machining.

I think I'm returning it, was it the same product you bought? It's a clone, I think you were the one to link me it actually, so should I just get a new one?

RE: Box mod?
Yes - contact FT and return it - that is not how it ought to be. My Internet connection this afternoon was useless but I did get pictures.

For the record, here's an Aqua 2 build.

Here it is torn apart. The horrible looking black things on the right are the wicks I pulled out.

Obviously when you can't get the tank inner part off you can't build it. Those are 3mm coils which only just fit, I'd use 2.5mm if I were putting in new coils.

Here's the tank as it ought to come apart.

Here are the three parts of the tank as it ought to come apart.

So having taken the thing apart and given it a hot soapy bath and a couple of rinses in an ultrasonic cleaner, I dry burned the coils. Do not do this at more than 20W or you will need to make new coils. Then I took a pad of Muji cotton and split it in half. I cut out these two pieces.

Then I rolled one end of the cotton to make it easier to pass it through the coils. You can see one of the wicks is in place and trimmed already. The coils work out at around 0.4 ohms. Which allows me to use it on the Sigelei or any mechanical mod.

Then I trimmed the cotton making sure I got rid of the compacted ends and wet it with juice.

Once wetted with juice it is much easier to shove the cotton into the juice channels and have it stay there. I cut the cotton si it runs nearly to the bottom of the juice channels and use a matchstick or a pair of tweezers to stuff the cotton into the juice channels. There is actually very little cotton there, if you pack it too tight it won't wick properly. If you leave it too loose it will leak.

Then test fire it - but I couldn't do this in my office as the smoke detector is very sensitive. It is a good idea to make sure it is working properly before assembling it. Instead, I filled the tank, put it on the Sigelei and wandered off the site to vape it (No vaping (or smoking) on the 15 hectare hospital site)

Hope this is of some use when you get one that will actually come apart.

Yours looks fantastic, do you have to go through each of these steps when you get your Aqua V2? If so I might want to reconsider my tank choice, as I'm still a newbie and I don't think I have any friends that is really into advanced tank building...
