Battery thread sizes
I have Vision Spinner II batteries. The batteries have two different threads - one is a male thread that connects the battery to the tank, the other is a female thread that connects the battery to the battery charger. I believe the the male thread is a 510 (7mm X .5), but don't know what the female is. Two of my batteries will not screw on the charger and it appears the threads are messed up. I would like to buy a tap to clean up the threads, but don't know what size to get. Anybody know what size tap I need?

RE: Battery thread sizes
It's probably an eGo type. I'm not sure what the threading is on those. The internal threading is the same as 510 so most eGo type devices can use standard 510 atomisers. The external threading which is used by things like CE4 atomisers I don't seem to be able to find a thread diameter and pitch for. It may (like the 510) be an odd size and pitch combination not normally stocked.

RE: Battery thread sizes
You must be a lot more patient than me Mike - the thought of cleaning up eGo threads with a file is not a happy one for me.

RE: Battery thread sizes
I did some research and believe the ego threads are M12 X .5 and the smaller internal threads are 510 (M7 X .5). Now trying to find the right taps. I'm not interested in buying from China and so far can't find a U.S. supplier.

RE: Battery thread sizes
I did get a German set.

They weren't cheap but work just fine (M7x0.75)

I also got some very cheap M7x0.5 dies.
