Question Battery life?
hey guys,
New to the forum and vaping .
I just bought a hades mod with the 26650 battery I believe is 3200mah, with a haze dripper.
I have 2 questions 1. Is there a way to test how much charge I have left? I don't want to charge it if it's half dead but I don't want it to die tomorrow half way through the day and be without it since it takes so long to charge. 2nd question is , how long should a battery this size last me ? I hit it very frequently at home but not as much as work. Thanks guys

RE: Battery life?
Welcome to the forum!
To test the charge you have left on a cell, the best way is to get a multimeter, set it to read voltage, and just touch the leads to the ends of the cell. That way you can tell how much voltage the cell is putting out, which then tells you how much charge it has left. A fully charged cell will read 4.2V, and a completely drained cell will read around 3.6V (provided it hasn't been damaged or overdischarged). So if you test it and it reads 3.9V, you'll know it's about halfway drained.
As far as the second question is concerned, I can't really say for sure, since I've never had a 3200mAh cell and I don't know how frequently you vape or what resistance of coils you're using. 3200mAh is a very respectable charge capacity, so it should last a good long while, but then again if you're using a super low resistance build, that drains the power much more rapidly. So really the best answer I can give is if you charge it up, vape all you want, and then see how long it takes for it to drain.
Hope that helps! Once again welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy your time here and stick around Smile

Awesome that helps a lot! At least I'll be able to ball park what kind of charge it has.  Prolly best to get another battery

Yeah I keep several charged at all times just in case of emergencies. It's always best to be prepared.
