RE: Battery imbalance - worrysome?
hey there fb

I've seen this from the cuboid, some are reading slightly out. If you have a charger that has a readout they should be very close, if not then you do have an issue. If your batteries haven't stayed married it might be time for some new ones.

RE: Battery imbalance - worrysome?
There is no remedy, just new batteries. The risk is that one battery potentially has the demand of two placed on it, at best slowly killing off the good cell, worst case would be venting it. If it's only a fraction out there's no iminent danger.

How far out are they?

A few hundredths of a volt don't matter. Anything above around 0.2V does.

I always number my batteries so I can tell which is which.

TVF tested battery info to be found here

Are you charging the batteries using the usb port on the cuboid or do you have a dedicated 18650 charger? I personally would highly recomend to have the batteries charged on a dedicated charger otherwise the new batteries might show the same simptoms after a while.

RE: Battery imbalance - worrysome?
The port on the cuboid is a bit wonky. One side always seems to take longer to charge than the other. Even switching batteries - right for left - does not remedy this. So it is not the batteries. Use an external charger and you will see they are always within .1 volt of each other. So I have found anyway. I use my cuboid with various sets of paired batteries always with the same result.

I like my cuboid. It does have a few flaws. The screen scratches very easily. The charge port is a bit wonky. But you should never charge your batteries through a USB anyway on a regulated series mod. The newer mods all say the USB is for iupgrades only (except the rx200) which is the safe way to charge. I would check those batteries in a different mos and see if they charge and discharge equally - I bet they do.

All said and done - the cuboid hits very nicely. No lag in the response. I get more ladg from my Snow Wolf 1.5. And the TC seems to work well also.I like use mine in my rotation - I have six or seven mods i rotate regularly ... the cuboid sees action at least two or three times a week.

i bought the cuboid simply fr the battery endurance. I have nebox which I like very much but leak like a bit%*h after a while using it. I no longer uses RBA ,now use coil so flavor, etc just standard
