Back to my old love
Hi guys. It has been some months now, that I've been using a borrowed Uwell Crown tank after having some issues with my Triton Mini. As a strict and fanatic MTL-er, this was something new, and I can't hide it, even a bit exciting for me.
Going from 10.5W to something that doesn't even start vaporizing till 25W, was a big change. Let's put things straight: Big clouds and DL sound like much fun, and in fact it is, but not for too long... After some time, I started missing the old thick dense vapor and concentrated flavor I used to get from MTL, the throat hit and, lets be honest here, after all these years taking puff after puff from analog cigarettes, you get so used to it that you start to love it. It becomes a pleasurable routine.
Another thing that was getting on my nerves, was the cost of the juice this subohm tank was taking from me. This made me remember of a girl I used to buy drinks after drinks in a club, then returning back home, ALONE, and unhappy.
FINALLY, I resolved the issues I had with my Triton Mini and I was so happy. It was telling me: I forgive you, even if you tried flirting with this other chick, I forgive you. Now come with me and I'll show you the real fun.
Now I'm back to my MTL-ing, lower than ever, 9W!
The lesson of this long and boring post is: We should try some new things in life, to understand the value of the old ones.
Cheers!

I love this bit - I know exactly what you mean.......

I've been all over the place and always seem to come back to MTL as what actually works for me.

And Me[Image: smile.gif] There is just something quite tranquil about MTL - not the ''aggression'' of DTL - just the peaceful slow inhaling of a nice flavoured juice - nothing to beat it.

RE: Back to my old love
So the moral of this story is don't judge others for how they vape. be open minded to try different styles and find what works for you. Personally I prefer sub ohming but not huge cloud chasing. The flavour I get is very good for my tastes with the way I mix. Some people prefer 100% VG some may like 50% VG or less. It is all part of vaping and finding your "happy Place" Smile

Absolutely right LF - whatever suits you best - as long as you enjoy it. Vaping is a very individual thing - hence so many different products to choose from.

RE: Back to my old love
I'm going to mention this again - get the Berserker MTL RTA - it is a real treasure at the cost. I have tried everything - I've vapid at 150+ watts and 10 watts. I really really prefer the toddle vape. Also cannot use juice much anymore. Almost has to be nic salts. When I use juice it is anywhere from 6-18 mg depending on the device. My wife keeps telling me to cut down on my mic levels, lol. I will when when she cuts down on the time it takes her to leave the house. (never happening)

RE: Back to my old love
Hi Paul - it is on my list - I don't have a RTA and it does appear to be purely a MTL vape.

RE: Back to my old love
I would re-train myself back to full on MTL. I really enjoyed it when I first started vaping, and I know I would again. But I just can't seem to break the barrier of airflow. It isn't watts, or clouds, it's airflow. I just really love a long, deep vape. The consequence of that requires me to DL. It just is.

I'd never judge an MTL'er or look down at anyone regarding vaping. I wish it worked for me, imagine the massive cost and maintenance savings, I just can't do it. I will try again though.

RE: Back to my old love
Hi TW - The important thing in all this is the satisfaction and enjoyment of vaping. MTL is totally governed by airflow and for some this is just not what they want. I have tried both and I just cannot do DTL - it makes me cough every time - it is just not natural for me. You sound as if you are the opposite so don't even try to MTL - it is not worth losing any of the enjoyment you get from vaping. Each to their own I say - and long may it continue to be so.
