Atlantis Juice Hogging?
I'm debating on whether or not to get an Atlantis. Some reviews I've watched have shown it to deplete juice very quickly.
My question is whether or not it's worth it. Advice please....

Depleting juice quickly is only a downside if you want it to be. I prefer to think of it as "it uses a lot of juice to blow giant clouds."

I love my Atlantis! I think it's a fantastic device and encourage you to get one if you can. Like Michael said, juice consumption is directly related to cloud production, so it's only a negative if you want it to be. If running the 0.5 ohm coils use the juice too quickly for you there is always the 0.8 ohm, 1.0 ohm and 1.2 ohm coils you can use.

Another reason it appears to use the juice like a hog is that it only holds 2-3ml of juice.

RE: Atlantis Juice Hogging?
After a lot of back and forth, I chose the SubTank over the Atlantis, and I am thrilled with it.  I have the Mini (smaller than the big one but bigger than the nano) and it holds as much or more juice than the Atlasntis, is similar in airflow, has great coil options...  And costs less!

Just so there's a counterpoint, lol.  Wink

Subtanks run at a little lower wattage, the DeltaII likes higher wattage the Atlantis is in the middle. Of these newer sub ohm tanks are juice monsters no matter what you pick. Not really any worse than a dripper. You can't expect 35mpg at a 100 MPH. These new tanks run like turbo charged race cars.

Glad you're liking your SubTank Smile I've had my SubTank Nano for about two weeks now, and I've hardly used any other atties at all since I got it. These new super tanks really are the bee's knees lol

RE: Atlantis Juice Hogging?
I'm curious what people mean this tank or that tank are "lower wattage" or "higher wattage" than others - that's all in teh coil build.  Yes, the RBA in teh Sub has juicing issues at higher power and VG levels, but as I've covered in other threads - I fixed the hell outta that problem, lol.  I have no doubt that with the right coil build this tank could handle 50+ watts with ease.

RE: Atlantis Juice Hogging?
Really it just means that's the recommended wattage settings for a particular tank. Like on the premade SubTank coils, the side of the coil shows a range of recommended settings. Of course like you said it's mostly about the coils, and that especially matters when you're using premade coils. Airflow also factors into it, I mean you can't really use a tank with no airflow at 100W no matter how good the coils are.

My advice would be to wait till the end of April...the Atlantis V2 is coming out and has several great upgrades.
