RE: Aspire Triton Tank
Three weeks now with the Triton - no problems at all - it's a great tank with both the .4ohm and standard vaping with the 1.8 ohm coil - best of both worlds.

RE: Aspire Triton Tank
We've had the Triton in the shop for a few weeks, but personally I haven't been impressed. I don't know if it's the batch or what, but we've had issues with them leaking...a lot.

RE: Aspire Triton Tank
Pardon a novice for asking, but what's the main difference between the Triton and the Nautilus? Is it the sub ohm?

The leaking is only occurring with the .4ohm coils - the early ones were a bit dodgy regarding the cotton wrap around the coil. The tank is great with the 1.8 ohm coil. I think the manufacturing problem is now sorted - still in 'discussion' with Aspire about it - I want a refund on my first set of coils.

Hi TW - the Triton tank can be used for sub ohming with the .4ohm coil but it also has a 1.8ohm coil for standard vaping it also fills from the top and has much more air flow capabilities because it can sub ohm - it is a great tank.

Thanks ecignut, it sounds like it may be standing in for the Nautilus for a while soon. I really dig the top-fill.

You will not be disappointed - I use the 1.8ohm coil at 12W and the flavour is great due to the fact that the amount of vapour you get from that coil is amazing also the airflow system when nearly shut off completely intensifies the flavour. I am still trying to come to terms with sub ohming though because I am really a mouth to lung vapor but I am getting there - its good fun - except you cannot see where you are.Lol. What power do you use the Nautilus at as a matter of interest. I use it at 9W with the 1.8ohm coil - a lot less than the 1.8 coil in the Triton for some reason, the 1.6ohm coil I use at 10W.

RE: Aspire Triton Tank
My experience with the Triton hasn't been good. It leaked a couple times but hardly the worst of my issues. I can't get good flavor out of it. Good clouds with the 10/90 3mg juice but it tastes terrible, tastes and smells like burnt wood or paper. I have cleaned it, changed the coils using all 3 available. Different boxes, different wattages, different juices, different air flow, different vape technique....nothing. Not really happy with it at all.

I am new so maybe I am doing something wrong. But, I have had the vape shop guy go through it and set it up and same results. Blah.

Hi TF - how much power are you using for the .4ohm coil and the 1.8 coil - I don't know about the .3ohm coil - never used it.
It sounds to me you are using too much power.

RE: Aspire Triton Tank
I've tried every wattage in every increment my Defender 2 puts out starting at 16w. I have done this with all 3 coils on 2 different devices. HeatVape Defender 2 50w and Evolv DNA50. My Defender will not fire a sub ohm coil below 16.

RE: Aspire Triton Tank
Had mine about a week now, just using the prefitted coil, aand have to say I personally think it doesnt match up to my Kanger mini or Nano. There are some innovations I do like. Top filling  is a strong idea, and the airholes in the mouthpiece help keep unwanted heat at bay. But there are problems, maybe it's a little overengineered. the side holes on the atomizer are barely visible in vape mode, and personally I think the kanger gives a clearer tasting hit. I have a rebuild section on the way, and i'lll go with my preferred .5 ohm. But overall, i much prefer the kanger sub, and theres far more in the box as standard, including a rebuild deck, spare tank and set of rings. My next purchase was going to0 be the aspire V2, but unless it shows an improvement over the triton, I'll be buying from a different company.
