Aspire Nautilus Trouble
I love the Nautilus tank. I have three of them. The thing is, though, when I go to fill it when I'm out of juice, the bottoms are so darn tight, I need pliers on the top and bottom to open the tank to fill them. I've tried just 'snugging' up the bottom, but ended up with all the juice leaking out of the tank and onto my nightstand. Ever reach for your device at one a.m., only to grab a globby, sloppy mess? It's not pretty, and takes forever to clean up. It's like oil.

Anyway, I'm thinking it might be the heat that's generated by the device. I literally have two pairs of pliers with electrical tape wrapped around the end so I don't scratch the tank's parts up.

How tight do you tighten it the ends after filling? All three of mine have the same problem.

RE: Aspire Nautilus Trouble
I've woken from slumber and grabbed my device only to find a globby, sloppy mess. Fortunately that was before I started vaping. Methinks we are talking about two different things though. Blush

I've had clearos in the past that I could not unscrew the base on to save my life. If he sealmis not completely air tight they will leak for sure.

RE: Aspire Nautilus Trouble
I've only had my Nautilus for a couple of days, and it's already started flooding a little bit. Nothing major, but slightly annoying. I'm thinking I might have just not screwed the base on quite tight enough. Hopefully it'll stop after the next fill.

I use the Nautilus also. I've had this problem so what I tend to do is tighten it up until it's snug but not where it is too tight that it takes pliers to open it up.
After a while you'll get the "feel" for how tight is tight enough. Just my personal experience though.

RE: Aspire Nautilus Trouble
Never over tighten the Nautilus , big mistake.    If it's leaking when just screwed down snug,  the rubber base seal may have been deformed from over tightening .

The directions for the tank emphasize to never over tighten and just screw the top on first (finger tight) and then after filling to screw the bottom on but again never overly tight , if the bottom is screwed down so tight as you can't make it move anymore if you try to tighten further it's way too tight.

The bottom should be very snug but not cranked down tight , the tank will always seal perfectly this way , never had a leak .

If it leaks unless it's cranked down tight i would bet it's damaged.   The coil head should also never be real real tight , finger tight but no more.

I have two and never had an issue either , very easy tank to use imo.  I have had some nightmare type tanks/clearos , i remember trying to get the bottom off a T2 clearo and OMG wouldn't budge , i was sweating buckets and cussing but then remembered only the top cap comes off .

I have to agree. I can't compare it because the Atlantis is the only tank I have, but it is very user friendly, especially for a beginner like me.
