Aspire Atlantis Evo - New Mod
Just a head's up, this is my first post on TVF... if I break any rules or am posting in the wrong place, I apologize ahead of time.
Also, very much a beginner... learning the terminology as I go.

Been vaping for 3 months now to replace the cigs.
Bought a Vaporesso Target 2, 75W. Didn't like the ceramic coils so replaced the tank with an Aspire Atlantis Evo (4ml).
I use 5ohm coils and am usually between 35w and 40w. Go through about 10ml / day.
70vg/30pg if that makes a difference.
I love the vapor production, the taste is on point, I'm a happy camper.

Except... the lady loves the Vaporesso body and I want to give it to her and upgrade myself.

So here's the question: what's a good mod upgrade to use with an Aspire tank? Looking to spend between $60-$120 if that's reasonable.

If there's any other information that would help, please let me know.
Thank you, E

Hi SteverStyle. Welcome to TVF your budget is quite wide and there's an array of mods that will do the job. My personal favourite is the Reuleaux RX200 at the moment. There are many other newer mods on the market and you are going to be inundated with suggestions very soon. Enjoy your stay. Vape On, Vape Happy

Welcome to TVF SS. With that budget, you will find a huge selection...my suggestion would be to do a little research at some of the manufacturer sites or even at a vendor site - SMOK makes some really good mods, with a huge selection, including some really good tanks as well; ASPIRE SIGELEI KANGER also have a really good selection - the list is large but these should be a good starting point to see what design/appearance catches your eye...once you narrow down the lists, we will happily assist via our own experience with just about anything on the market.

Many of us have more than 1-2 mods....

RE: Aspire Atlantis Evo - New Mod
Hi and welcome SS!

Just about any current mod will be good. Personally I'd stay away from Kanger stuff as they have heard of quality control and decided that it is an unnecessary cost.

Wismec make good mods. Most everyone doesn't need 100W or more. There are people who do. But if they took their meds they wouldn't... Tongue

Segelie also has issues with honoring it's warranty. One of their newer mods, the 213, has issues with TC which lead to the discovery of them not honoring their warranties. I like my new IPV 6X, but it has one too many bugs for a full recommendation, and also a voluntary recall. No one here is saying these companies don't make good mods, just some have issues you might like to avoid. I'll most likely try a SMOK mod next. I hear good things about the Alien and G-Priv.

RE: Aspire Atlantis Evo - New Mod
I think as the mods get more complicated the more things are likely to go wrong with any of them

RE: Aspire Atlantis Evo - New Mod
Wismec make great mods at reasonable prices - I have 5 now with no issues.[Image: smile.gif] If it was me I would go with the Wismec Presa 75W - there is a 100W as well. If you want something a little different the Wismec RX 75W is a really nice piece of kit. Keep away from Kanger - Don is right - they think quality control is keeping that quality as poor as possible. Enjoy choosing - I do - about once a month[Image: tongue.gif].

RE: Aspire Atlantis Evo - New Mod
Thank you all for the information.

Last night I stopped at the local vape shop to check out that Reuleaux RX200. Holy smokes (holy vapes?) that's a nice size mod.
Bigger than what I am looking for I think. As Don said, 75-100W is probably all I need... for now. Muahaha

Ahem... anyway...
Stay away from Kanger. Got it. I certainly want a quality.

Going to check out the local Wismec 100W selection tonight.
Last question, will I have any problems using my Aspire tank with a Wismec or Smok mod?
