Aromamizer RDTA
I just picked up this tank and I'm running in on my sigelei fuchai 200w TC.  I put Clapton 6 wrap coils in it 2.5mm ID. Reading at .31 ohms.  Was curious what you feel would be a good wattage range to run this build with this tank.  Thanks

RE: Aromamizer RDTA
As long as you've done a good job with the wick, that should be able to handle quite a bit of power, I had Claptons in mine at .2 ohms and was able to run it at 80-90W, I'd guess yours would probably be good up to around 70W. I haven't had the Aromamizer very long though, and I'm still testing out what works on it, so maybe somebody here has more experience with it than me and can tell you a better estimate.

RE: Aromamizer RDTA
I find it needs rather a lot of power - with the 0.06 ohm titanium (TC) build I have in it, even with the air holes not that much open I find 90-110W works for me. But I've had mine for less time than Michael has had his one.

RE: Aromamizer RDTA
How are your Claptons made?  Are you vertical or horizontal?

I've settled on a build that works so well I don't use anything else anymore.  Dual Claptons, single 24 awg wrapped in 30, 2.5 mm ID, 4 wraps, comes out to .22 ohms.   HORIZONTAL placement, pushed low.  Verticals don't wick fast enough for the power this tank will support.  I run it between 84 and 89 watts on a Sig 100+ and it's amazing.

With proper wicking, you're gonna have a helluva time getting a better vape, and it SIPS juice.  I burn through less juice on this build than in my SubTank mini at .4 ohms at less than half the power - and I'm actually vaping MORE now.

Enjoy!

RE: Aromamizer RDTA
AJ I'm gonna have to try that build! I've been doing vertical, and lately I've noticed I seem to be right on the edge of a dry hit all the time... Never had a dry hit, but the sound and feel of it make me nervous, you know how you can tell right before you get a dry hit, that's what mine feels like all the time. I just figured I didn't wick it well. I'll have to try your build though, that sounds good.

RE: Aromamizer RDTA
I got the 6ml Aromamizer and immediately built the vertical build that swept the scene when the Aromamizer went ballistic - and HATED it.  I was tipped off when Rip said he was "only running it at 50 watts" in his video - waaaay too low power for the build he specified.  Sure enough - run it more than that and it's dry hit city.  Immediately tried a similar build horizontal - twice the wick contact with the floor - and BAM!  No more worries that I bought a tank I was going to hate.  I've tweaked the build a little bit since then, and it's just dreamy.

RE: Aromamizer RDTA
AJ, I just built my Aromamizer with your suggested build. It's freakin' fabulous. 80W with no dry hits. You're a bloody genius.

RE: Aromamizer RDTA
Aromamizer supreme is coming soon.

http://www.steamcrave.com/

Now I already have the 3ml one but I'm picking this up for sure. Problem is I'm really trying to cut down. I want to have no more than 15 mods and 20 RDAs, RTAs and tanks about. I just don't have an easy time parting with any of my loot though, lol. I've passed a few things on to gently but I got more stuff back. And I have my eye on a smith box now too that I want to put a tsunami on. SIGH.
