RE: Are Capella flavorings worth the price difference
I'm an odd duck here, never used Capella Vanilla Custard. To be honest, I have a really hard time being patient enough to let juice steep for a few weeks, so I've intentionally never tried Capella VC and instead just made a shake-and-vape custard that I like. I'm sure it's incredible, but I'm afraid I'll love it and it'll ruin shake-and-vape flavors for me. Crazy, I know.

I hear ya, it's hard to wait, but the only thing I S&V are fruits.
It's a vicious cycle, I run out of fruits early & then I'm into my custards/bakeries etc. I used to just make double the fruits, but have found that some fade pretty good after 3-4 weeks. They sometimes require a little freshening up.

RE: Are Capella flavorings worth the price difference
I've recently found a couple good shake-and-vape flavors, and a couple flavors that need a week or so to reach max potential (I'll post recipes asap!). For me, that's about the max range of time I can wait. I do have a couple of bottles set back to steep just to see how well the new flavors do after a month or so, but that's a rare thing. With my busy schedule, there have been many times that I'd make a liter or two of a few flavors I really like, mixed up and bottled all at once, then just use it until it runs out which lets the last bottles steep for quite a while. But then I don't mix until I'm practically out of everything, so if I didn’t have the shake-and-vape flavors I wouldn't have anything to use. Poor planning, I know, but that's how I am and I've learned to live with it.

The reason I asked is because I was thinking of buying 4oz bottles of the "must haves" but I've now decided to get 1oz bottles of all popular flavorings and decide for myself, which is what you guys suggest.

Yes, with the caveat that usually smaller quantities work out to be more expensive, but the obvious flip side is not having wasted money for a large bottle you will never use again. Been there.

There are lots of great flavours out there. Capella VC is like nothing else out there. It is very well worth the money. Inawera and Solubarome make a lot of excellent flavours. But they also make some nasty ones. You really do have to experiment with what works for you. Solubarome Vanilla is the best vanilla bar none. IMO. Inawera Strawberry needs to be used at less than 1%. But is nice. CCW Cream is the nicest there is. Unlike most of the rest of their range.

RE: Are Capella flavorings worth the price difference
I started with 10ml bottles and bought a wide assortment of the most popular flavours at first. The ones I like I replenish in larger bottles and buy few new flavours to replace the ones I don't like. Over all the start up was a little pricey ($100.00) but after 3 months I have only bought 1 B&M juice and saved a bundle of dollars. Best part is I can say I mixed my own juice when asked where did you get it

To try and fail is one step closer to trying and succeeding

RE: Are Capella flavorings worth the price difference
I agree with most everyone else. Some of caps flavors are definitely worth the price others not so much. So far my must haves are:

Vanilla Custard v1 - v2 is good but I just like the v1 better.
Sweet Cream
New York Cheese Cake
French Vanilla
Sweet Strawberry
Simply Vanilla

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream is becoming a contender as well.

Keep Calm and Vape On!

CAP Dragonfruit is peppy, one I like a whole lot. Bursting with dragony goodness.

I don't see Capella flavors in 10ml.  I notice that Flavor Apprentice has 10ml, where did you get yours?
