Anyone here ever use a SMOK koopor Primus?
So, I've already been asked a week ago or so what mod I would want for Christmas.
So I want to know if anyone here ever used or better yet owned a Koopor Primus?

Might just be a passing thought. I very well might want something else by then. But I've been thinking about this Combo.

I kinda like the TF-RDTA. Any thoughts, comments, or suggestions?

Jesse, I've become a big fan of SMOK - looks like a really nice mod - even the battery set-up looks better than the pyramid configuration.... Smile

Totally unrealistic power claims but I'm sure it works well enough. The other smok mods hit like troopers so no reason this one won't.  Have you checked out online reviews?

RE: Anyone here ever use a SMOK koopor Primus?
Well so far I've only watched a video review..... I know I KNOW okay. It Sounds stupid to say it like that. But I wanted alot of information on this device. And I dont have access to one. So I turned to a YouTube reviewer that goes by DJLsb Vapes

If you have never heard of him I cant really blame you.

This guy is a complete techie. He has all sorts of very very good temp and electric monitoring devices. Takes everything apart to see exactly how well it's made. Or isn't. (like how some lie about being able to FIRMWARE update)

He is also very Picky about devices being EXACTLY what they claim. I mean this guy is just basically over the top as a Vaping reviewer. He even has charts on taks/RDA's just about how far the pin sticks out the bottom of the 510 threads when he gets them in. If that tells you anything about him.

This man does not like it when a MOD (or any device) does not deliver what it was promising its customers and will make this known BIG TIME.

The down side to his reviews is that he is not exciting or entertaining in anyway. He is very picky. And he is so thorough that most of his reviews are between 45 minutes to over an hour long. This on is actually a short one for him.

Anyway here ya go.

00:00 – Intro
0:24 – Unboxing and Overview
5:39 – Comparison with other Devices
7:09 – Device Walk-thru
17:26 – Device Internals and reassembly
23:14 – Charts, Graphs and Tests
29:11 – Final Thoughts

If you got some time to burn Just give his channel a look, And look for Your favorite MOD's might have already been torn apart by him and given a real close look over. Might be interesting to see what he found.

Yeah...I Guess I can see what you mean. Setting the device to 300W on a 0.27ohm coil will apparently only give you a true 296W.

So yeah I guess it did fall a little short on power claims. Dammit.

EDIT: That sounds a little harsh. It wasn't meant to be. Trust me I was very shocked when i saw those results. And even more so when i saw the charts for the TC modes.

A 3-cell mod shouldn't go to 300W, period. That's way too many amps for the cells, even if it technically can do 296W it's not safe to do so.
