Hi Rob - Being saying this for years - taste buds are in your mouth not your lungs. DTL can never match MTL for flavour but trying to convince people of this falls on stoney ground.[Image: sad.gif]

It is true that comes from the tongue, but the amount of vapor you can hold in your mouth is very limited. That's why I strongly support the idea that a restrictive dtl can help you inhale bigger amounts of flavor. And the fact that the vapor moves slower and denser than a real dtl helps this process. It is like sth 'in between' as Eddie said Smile I'll call it the golden middle lol
Of course taste is subjective

There are taste buds in the throat too. Drink a glass of salt water (don't add too much salt or you'll vomit) and tell me I'm wrong.

RE: Any good flavor DTL tank that performs in very low wattage?
Okay - my two cents. I generally vape restricted DTL. So around 20-25 watts. My Hurricane JR. and my Big Buddah are by far my favorites BUT the new Nautilus 2 tank is really good as it comes with a .7 ohm coil that I find perfectly suited for restricted DTL. Much better than the OG Nautilus (which sits atop one of my provaris). I also vape my pico RTA as restricted DTL at 19 watts or so. A marvelous vape there too.

We can debate the merits of MTL vs restricted DTL for days. One thing is that all my tanks for restricted DTL are a pita to build and wick on. They are not for beginners. I just gave a tank to my local B+M guy (yan bar at eastern bloc) and he is having a lot of fun vaping at 150 watts! He took it on loan but I'll likely not see it back, lol. Not my style of vape anyway but each to his own.

I would suggest the nautilus 2 to wrap this up. No need to build coils or wick. No dry hits. Coils last a couple of weeks. If you feel feel comfortable buiding though there are some excellent RDTA single coil tanks out there. Pindad, Serpent and Merlin come to mind. Gaia is my favorite though.

I'd think the Boreas would also perform well at those levels. It is a build-only, but it's a darn nice atty.

I don't go with this ''restricted'' nonesense - you either vape DTL or MTL - there is nothing in between. The next thing will be restricted MTL vaping - then the manufacturers will join in with auto controlled restricted mods and tanks. Then there will be restricted RDA's and RDTA's with restricted coil builds with restricted wires. To fit in with all this restricted juice will be made - what a load of rubbish!! We already have too many restrictions as it is. I hope this does not lead to restricted squonking by doing something nasty to the bottles - maybe restricting flavour in juices - there is no end to it. Rant Over[Image: smile.gif] - no more nonesense please.
