RE: An article from Reuters
Clive Bates' response to this is worth a look.

http://www.clivebates.com/?p=2706

In summary they were dry hitting constantly to the point of melting insulators in the atomiser. No human vaper would do this as it would be painful to vape.

The increased risk of cancer was a number pulled out of their asses

And formaldehyde is not the only carcinogen in cigarette smoke.

From an update to the comment on the NEJM article.
these two wrote about e-cigarettes in November 2014 Chemists break down e-cigarette research and haplessly demonstrated that they are basically clueless:
Quote:Peyton agreed with Pankow. He also pointed out that the high temperatures to which the element heated e-cigarette additives—over 600 degrees celsius—resulted in the creation of molecules not previously seen.
Vaping is typically done at 200-260 degrees celsius, with dry puff conditions developing at around 280 degrees.

This sort of nonsense does make one wonder what peer review in scientific journals is actually doing. Clearly not filtering for quality.

Needless to say the usual ANTZ lunatic fringe popped up on Twitter to spout their lies and exaggerations again.

RE: An article from Reuters
This is exactly the nonsense Dr Farsalinos was warning about in his interview with Phil Busardo.

These hapless idiots who know nothing whatsoever about ecigs and are deliberately skewing the results by burning the wicks and then cherry picking the most damaging results.

Clueless idiots you'd think but no, they know full well what they're doing and their agenda is perfectly clear.. not to mention shameful Negative Suicide2

The name of the game is disempowerment - in every area.

Any new technology that will benefit and serve to empower we 'little people' will be strenuously suppressed by TPTB.

Careful... he's packing two i134 Terminators. Scare
