tfv8 cloud beast help!!!
Hello, I am needing serious help with the tfv8 cloud beast tank. I have only been vaping for about 6 months. Building my on coils for about 4. It took alot of trial and error to finally get it right. But eventually I got it for the kangertech topbox mini rba and my big baby beast with alien 220 mod. I recently purchased a cloud beast and was really impressed with the factory coils and the factory rba coils. Anyways when I went to do my first build with the cloud beast rba I thought I had aced it. But about after the first ten hits or so it lost flavor and every build after that has been the same. I have even bought prebuilt coils and have the same problem. Please please give me some advice on my builds!!!! I am using demon killer fused clapton for my builds.

RE: tfv8 cloud beast help!!!
Welcome to TVF Trauma.

When you say pre-built coils you mean for the RBA deck and not factory coils correct?

If so I suspect it has to do with the wicking - I suspect you may be packing the cotton too tight and it's getting choked. If you are running with 80/20 e-juice, that could be a factor as well however I have built that deck numerous times and have played with the cotton....too much and it will choke on you...too little and it leaks... Sad

Thanks! But no i actually mean full prebuilt setups. I am having serious problems trying to get this cloud beast running. I am using my big baby for now with my own built coils works great.

There are a few really good youtube videos on it - The best one I found when I started building on it was this one. Trick used unlike any other decks was to juice up the cotton BEFORE tucking. Works like a charm!

Thanks I will try it. I just can't really figure out when it hits really good the first 10 or so then almost like a burnt liquid taste afterwards. Even though I have my wicking down pretty good. Even when I wicked the factory clapton coils that came with the rba.

Pretty late to this thread so you may have already solved your problem. But to put my opinion in after owning this tank for many months, I found that anything other than pure Titanium wire tasted horrible, I think it is down to the high wattage and temp going to to coil. It can handle high temperatures alot better than SS or nickle.
4/5 wraps of medium thickness titanium was spot on for me

Yeah, don't have that tank either but sounds like you've gotten some good advice.

I know it's late but welcome to TVF!

I'm hoping you are vaping in the TI coils in TC mode and not wattage?
