Need help with Cool Fire 4
So i just got a new Cool fire 4 off Amazon, came today and i started charging it, the red led was on obviously so i check back 4 hours later and still nothing the red led is still on, okay so i though maybe give it another hour, and no its still the red one hasn't even changed to orange.

I am charging with the main switch set to "Off" because when i try to do it on "On" its stays on green but not much happens.

RE: Need help with Cool Fire 4
Hi and welcome Matiik16!

Not so sure on the details of that mod. But it may take a very long time to charge up on a 500mA charger. 4 hours at 500mA is 2000mAh at best - probably half that. At least 8 hours may be needed for an initial charge...

I don't know how long it takes to charge - this is just an estimate from other mods. Just let it charge till the lights go green.

If it is too slow - get another charger. They aren't expensive.

When my coolfire arrived it was fully charged as are most integrated mods. Have you tried using it as it is. Will it fire up.

Try hitting it 5 times quickly.

The charger should be a 5v 1a, less and it will take ages to charge, if at all.
There is a pass through function, see if it'll fire while on charge. I don't recommend using it while charging normally but for a test I'll let it slide.

Don't forget to apply for the freecycle section!

The charger I'm using is 9.0V  1.67A
I was charging it all night and it still at Red :/
Does it make a difference if the main switch is set to On/Off ?
But even if I have it On its a green led, tried that for 4 hours and nothing changed.
If I unplug it from the charger then I don't even turn on or nothing.
And when I hold down the fire button the display just starts flashing and the LED lights keep changing from red to green

RE: Need help with Cool Fire 4
I would send it back - It should have been charged ready to use straight from the box - there is obviously something wrong. It is acting as if there was no atty on it.
