How to replicate the feel of smoking
hello everyone!
I have been smoking for 5 years. close to a pack a day in recent years. I have previously tried cig-alikes to no avail. just not satisfying

I just ordered the Joyetech Egrip II. With some 6mg and some 18mg juice. I know it's usually advised to work your way up to mods like this but my situation is a bit complicated and this was my only good choice (others were knock offs and this brand seemed to be established) for me.

Anyway, I wanted to know how I can best replicate the feeling of smoking and 'throat hit' with the juices and the kit I have available.

cheers.

RE: How to replicate the feel of smoking
Hello. Throat hit with vaping can be achieved in a couple ways... First, juice that's higher in PG. Second, higher nicotine concentration. You'll never actually have a 1:1 feeling since you're not actually burning tobacco leaves infused with thousands of chemicals, but you'll live longer.

RE: How to replicate the feel of smoking
Welcome to TVF.

That is a nice mod - you can use the built in atomizer or use the 510 adapter and use a different atomizer...the rebuild-able coil appears somewhat complicated to rebuild but with some practice I'm sure you'll master it.

My princess quit smoking using a similar mod (SUBOX & CUPTI), adjust the power, starting maybe at 15W-20W and increase until you find a happy place. She vapes around 30W and loves it. (she smoked for 25+ years)

Best of luck to you, you've started down a great path with a nice mod.

By the way, there's a HUGE difference between 6mg and 18mg juice, so be warned!!

RE: How to replicate the feel of smoking
Good point gently, I had forgotten that part of it - when I quit I was vaping tobacco only flavours...but now the smell alone of that ejuice is disgusting...in my mind it reminds me of smoking and grosses me out....... I took some to a work colleagues who is quitting and even the smell vape from it wasn't pleasant - yet 10 months ago it was my go-to everyday vape....but got me out of the clutches of the stinkies so it's all good! RE: How to replicate the feel of smoking
I got Halo Tribeca 6mg and some Hangsen tobacco 18mg. (I hope they last long enough) Unknw

What about the different coils it has?

1. Notch Coil  DL   0.25ohm
2. BF SS316   DL   0.5ohm
3. BF Clapton MTL 1.5ohm

Does any of them help make thicker vapor?
3BF SS316-0.5ohm DL

one more question. How long will the included coils (mentioned above) last if I take good care of them? Getting replacements might be tricky.

They vary dependant on use, they can go from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. Used with sweet thick juices it'll be the shorter end of the scale, thin, unsweetened and clear juices will see them last longest.
