GRIFFIN RTA
Hi Guys,

Good day!

I'm currently using a Griffin RTA. And my build was .3 ohms, 7 loops, 3 mm guide. When i'm trying to vape my cuboid set to 40w i feel different about the taste. It feels like it was burnt. I'm a newbie in vaping industry and i would like to have knowledge on how to fix this kind of problem. All opinions or comments will be appreciated. I barely need your help guys.

Thanks!

Hi and welcome Z!

My guess is that you have too much wicking material inside the coils. If it is a tight fit (Assuming you are using cotton) then it can't wick fast enough and stuff will burn on the wicks. Getting the right amount is crucial here. You should feel slight resistance as the cotton goes through the coil but it must be able to expand as it will when it is wet with juice.

RE: GRIFFIN RTA
You want the cotton to be able to move in the coils, you want to feel only slight resistance to it passing through the coil. I'm not familiar with the Griffin so will have to look it up.

RE: GRIFFIN RTA
Looking at it, building it is fairly straightforward. The real trick is getting the wicking right. Too much wick, you burn the wicks and juice, too little and it'll leak.

Here's a quick review.

Hi Don,

Good Day!

Do you have any opinions or advise about clapton coil? I bought it yesterday. But i cant decide how many wraps do i need to make for dual coil to have a safe resistance. i tried to search on the internet about clapton coil resistance calculator but can't find one. I really appreciate your suggestions. Thanks don!

NOTE: for anyone who read this and know about clapton your answer in my post is highly appreciated. thanks guys Smile ..
