A SIGN OF THE TIMES
Hi - Ever since the Target Pro Mod came on the market I have wanted one - just because it was 'different'. I did not get one because you could only get it as part of a kit and I refuse to buy kits. Yesterday while checking some vape sights I saw this mod as a separate item - I was just about to buy it but decided just to check the specs. of the mod again and found out that it does not fire under 10W and is therefore of little use to me - I was disappointed and rather annoyed because this is the second time recently that I have been going to buy a mod and found it not suitable. The other was the Apire Pegasus 70W - it only increases or decreases in power by a full Watt - totally useless for MTL. I am afraid MTL is on the way out - there are quite a few mods now that do not fire under 10W - manufacturers are losing out on a fair proportion of the market because of this - there are still some of us out here who MTL - fewer and fewer I admit - a sign of the times right enough[Image: sad.gif].

Hi FB - Thanks for that - well spotted. The only site in the UK selling this mod as a separate item state 10W - I will check with them tomorrow - you have given me hope where there was only despair - and I appreciate you advising me of it.

In 6+ months I've picked up close to a dozen of them - most people I spoke to and decided to quit the stinkies wanted a decent set-up...Target Pro 75W to me was and is one of the best....even the Target tank was/is decent.....

Hi TW - Yes I have - thanks to you, Bob, Don and gently with the help you all gave regarding RDA's and great info from others on the forum - as just witnessed from FB - I have not been disappointed in anything I have bought. BTW I am always on the look-out for a tight draw RDA so any that you come across let me know - I may need one for the Target mod[Image: tongue.gif].

Maybe it's time for an RDTA?

I have the Corolla - Bob forced me to buy it[Image: tongue.gif] and it is great - and purely a MTL device. I have to admit though that I have become addicted to dripping and squonking. There is just something about these modes of vaping that make them special - I think a lot of it is to do with the satisfaction of dripping - or squeezing the bottle just at the right time without checking the atty. and knowing your judgement was right - it is a very pleasing experience. Being able to use these vaping modes for MTL opened up a whole new ball-game for me - and it would not have happened if it wasn't for you guys. I will be forever grateful to Don for getting me into squonking which led onto the rest. The info. and advice so readily given by everyone on the forum has restored my faith in human nature - which I am afraid had started to wane quite dramatically.

It's funny. I've come full circle as well. Not MTL but vaping at around 30 - 35 watts and squonking and using small RTAs. I am installing fused claptons in my Petri RTA but I'm setting it up for a 35-40 watt vape. I squonk on a Narda at 35 watts and oi use my serpent mini at 32 watts. I still use my series mods once a day so that my lungs can still take a 150 watt hit but I usually vape now below 40 watts and enjoy it. I am writing up less reviews on the big RTAs simply because I don't use them anymore - waste of juice and breath. I get great flavor vaping lower. As far as tight draw RDAs go I'm saving for the Haladay. It is something else. Maybe the best RDA of its type - certainly matches the Narda. Also a single coil Tugboat V1.5 is pretty tight and decent too but it is designed for dual so the Narda and Haladay beat it.

Maybe it's because you're getting old! Maybe you're just tired!

There appears to be a pattern with most people who vape - flipping back and forth and new things, and old things, new again, etc...

Bet you must be trashed after working all those shifts this past week.... Smile
