Please tell me your not using an i4? Its not worth plugging the bugger in.

Box mod looks awesome,  I'm going to have to get some bits ordered when my wages pick up. Like a shit load of hammond enclosures for a start.

I only currently have a trust fire charger, and I have been using both bays to charge them, so it is taking bloody ages to charge. Like 6-8 hours for the pair. What charger would you recommend? One with two separate channels would,d be good so the current isn't split.

Thanks mate, I'm pleased with it but can see areas for improvement. Maybe a guitar knob for the pot spindle and I need a beauty ring (cock ring) to go over the 510. I did get some top caps from the pound shop (fast tech) but one fitted my sigelei perfectly so it lives there now, and the other was flimsy lightweight rubbish.

Efest soda is pretty good at fouteen quid from big_f_d_d on ebay. I sent one over to spasmod and he seems to like it. 1a/bay charging too.

I use a tr008 at home and an xtar wp2 in my van.

Outstanding work buddy! If you want a Guinea Pig for testing pre-production models just give me a shout Tongue

The Efest Soda hasn't missed a beat so far, I'm loving it Good I've switched it to 500mA charge rate too and it still charges a lot faster than my old charger hehe Smile

RE: 50W 10A Box Mod
Cheers spas, very kind. Unfortunately there is no way I could get these going in any volume as I am lacking tools to make them efficiently. I don't own a hand drill, only a dremel, so I made a 12mm hole with a 1.6mm drill bit and files... Not so bad with plastic but aluminium is a different matter. Plus I have chronic fatigue syndrome which seriously limits what I can do.

Hopefully going forward I will get some respite and will have time to knock out a run of ten or so, or I might do them at my own rate and sell them as one offs.

RE: 50W 10A Box Mod
I just made a PCB for you box modders...instead of having to have wires all willy nilly and whatnot

TOP:

any TO220 MOSFET will fit on the board, resistor is 15-20K, just a resistor to lower the current flowing thru the switch

2 layer board of 0.62x1.19 inches (16x30mm). $3.70 for three.

Haven't tested em yet however

I also can make a smaller SMD version if you like, using an AOD510

That is awesome Warhawk. I know Don could use one and quite possibly Bob too.

Sure does make it a ton easier to mount the mosfet Good

RE: 50W 10A Box Mod
I found some surface tabbed mosfets on rs. 180amp capable @25°c 120amp @100°c, they can only dissipate 315watts though.

Plan is to flow four of the buggers onto a piece of brass fastened in to a hammond box/top plate of a timber box. The flowed tab would form the ocd connector negative as far as I understand it. Four of them will run my big lipo packs at full output.

So wicks should last all of a millisecond lol

Yeah. Kilowatt vapes are hard on your wicks & coils.
