1st question to mixing
Okay so I started a little research and already have a question. On Nicvape I can order with following options for Diluted Nicotine Solution:

Strength of Nicotine: 25 mg/ml; 50 mg/ml; 75 mg/ml or 100 mg/ml

Bottle size is easy - anything from 60 ml to a full litre to even a gallon

Please select a base: PG or VG

Didn't think I'd be stumped so early in the process... Sad

RE: 1st question to mixing
Do VG. I prefer it anyway. Most flavorings are PG based so it's a fair trade. As for strength, the math is easy at 100mg. 1ml per 30ml of juice nets you a 3mg strength. I bought a 120 ml bottle of 100mg VG based and it will probably last me for years. 120 30ml bottles anyway.

Here's a link to the Mixing Juice FAQ.  It should answer a lot of your questions.

RE: 1st question to mixing
I would get the PG-based nicotine. I have the VG-based from NicVape, and it's so thick it's hard to work with. Syringes do not play nicely with VG. So I would recommend using PG-based ingredients and just adding VG to the juice, easier that way.

RE: 1st question to mixing
Thing is, if you want high nic (18mg/ml and up) and want high VG ratios you are pretty much going to have to use nic in VG.

Been there....

Below 12mg/ml nic in PG is far easier to handle. In theory nic in VG ought to last longer in the freezer but the difference is small.
